I fell asleep to the sound of the rain last night. I couldn’t see the moon

it’s been a long winter in these mountains, perhaps spring comes soon.

The ground outside is swollen– downpours atop snow melt. Never mind the morning dew.

Spirit meant for all of me to live gracefully beside every you.

Inspired by simplicity these days.

Today is a good a day to strip the ego bare and stand naked in the rain.

Why not?

Isn’t that why we came?

  1. Love your writing. It’s always direct and strong, even when delivered gracefully as you so often do. But I guess I should tell you that your poetry always speaks to me. This one was great!
