The sun came up this morning
I didn’t ask it to…
I just said thank you… Anishiik.

Actually the earth turned up to greet the sun.
That wasn’t my idea either.

They just did what they do, dance their dance and I’m just in it for the ride..

I don’t have a choice and I don’t want one.

I woke this morning with a song I’ve never heard
stuck in my head…

I guess I’ll have to write it.

My Mind says get up
But my body loves this bed…

It’s luxury to roll over one more time…

Luxury greets my day.
